Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company plans five projects worth $1.2 billion and Almalyk MMC four projects worth $2.5 billion. Passenger-car output is to rise by 50% to 700,000 a year, creating openings in components, logistics and supply chains.
Electrical engineering and energy
The plan foresees 121 high-tech production facilities worth $3.3 billion and copper processing above 145,000 tonnes. By 2028, 11.7 GW of new capacity is to come online: 5.4 GW wind, 2 GW solar, 3.7 GW of modern thermal plants and 560 MW of energy storage.
